About Our Founder
Mona Zargar founded The Wig Fairy in 2011 with a simple yet powerful goal: to support women and children experiencing hair loss through premium wigs and deeply personalized care.
Mona has worn wigs for over 15 years, which gives her an authentic connection with her clients. She began her career working with extensions and styling wigs within the Jewish community. What started as a hobby in her home quickly turned into a calling!
As Mona bonded with her clients, she realized just how much compassion, education, and emotional support were missing from the hair loss space. Mona opened her first salon with just a few employees. Now she’s preparing to open her third location, a new chapter that reflects the incredible community that has grown around The Wig Fairy. From styling in her home to hosting pop-ups across the country, Mona has built a team that feels like family and a space where every client feels supported.
A proud mom of two daughters and a loving wife, Mona brings warmth and light into everything she does. She thrives on connection, loves planning beach days with friends, and finds joy in lifting others up.
